Onesurance is a fast-growing insurtech startup operating in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Spain. We develop AI-driven software that enables insurers, brokers and proxies to better understand customers, prevent terminations and grow commercially.

What will you do?

As a Software Engineer working student, you will rotate in our development team and work on our AI platform for insurers. You will work together with experienced developers and ML engineers and get plenty of space to learn and contribute to real solutions.

What you will do like this:

• Participate in developing and improving our backend in Python

• Building APIs, data integrations and smart data flows

• Collaborate with the Machine Learning team to bring models into production

• Thinking along on scalability, performance and technical architecture

• Provide input on how to make our platform smarter and more user-friendly

So you are really involved in the technical core of our product.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an inquisitive, curious working student who gets excited about building software in fast-growing startup. Do you recognize yourself in this?

• You are pursuing a wo-master's degree in e.g. Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science or something similar

• You have experience with Python (SQL is a plus)

• You are available for at least 2 days a week; preferably also on Wednesdays (our regular office day)

• You are independent and show initiative, but also enjoy working together

• You speak good Dutch (important because of cooperation with customers)

• You have an interest in AI and/or Machine Learning

• You enjoy working in a fast-growing start-up environment

Experience with Azure, dbt or API development is nice - but definitely not a must.
