Top Fit: Dashboard for net portfolio insight

Top Fit is designed to provide insight into the profitability of individual customer relationships. After all, not every customer contributes positively to portfolio profitability. By comparing revenues and costs per customer, Top Fit provides insight into the net value of particular customers to your business.

Why is this valuable?

  • Commercial optimization: focus on the right customer segments

  • Portfolio management: drive for value, not just volume

  • Acquisition analysis: quick insight into the quality of an external portfolio

  • Risk management: recognize patterns of loss-making behavior

What is being measured?

A net customer value is calculated for each relationship:

  • Commission income and premium revenue.

  • Number of claims and damage amount

  • Contact load (frequency, duration, type of interaction)

  • Expected term (lifetime)

This output provides insight into:

  • Structurally loss-making customers (bleeders)

  • Customers with low revenue but high profit contribution

  • Customers growing or shrinking in value

What does the Top Fit dashboard show?

  • The number of relationships in your data, the total and average net value of those relationships.

  • A summary by industry/SBI code of the number of relationships, total and average net worth.

  • A detail view of "Top Fit relationships," including:

    • Relationship ID

    • Type (business/private)

    • Provision

    • Contact costs per year

    • Handling costs per year

    • Net value per relationship (positive/negative)

Steering and filtering

  • You can set focus via the slider at the top (e.g. top 25% most valuable).

  • There are filters for relationship type, advisor and segments ("Defend," "Sustain," "Reduce," etc.).

  • Using the checkboxes, select relationships with commission > 0, in scope or "focus."

  • All figures are immediately visible by segment, type or industry.

Practical use

  • The tables show all relevant key figures by industry/SBI and region.

  • In the right-hand table you will immediately see the contacts with their individual net worth, costs and revenues.

  • You can open the relation card by clicking on the corresponding relation.
